Shaper Mark Gnech was born and grew up surfing in Western Australia. He spent his early years exploring the western coastline extensively, surfing waves as far south as Denmark, as well as spots such as Gnarloo and tombstones in the Northwest.

 

Mark is now based in Sydney, Australia, where he lives at Narrabeen beach. He hand shapes boards for surfers of all levels and abilities and prefers to work closely with customers to ensure that their boards best suit their needs.

 

Over the years, Mark has travelled to surf spots all over the globe. From Bali and Tonga, to Puerto Escondido and Spain, Mark is accustomed to designing boards for the casual travelling surfer as well as the serious surfari warrior.
